PRESIDENT
Prior to starting Colton Lee Communities in 1998, Mr. Gorian served as Vice President for Dale Poe Development Corporation, one of the largest privately held real development firms in California with ownership of more than 130,000 acres and 25,000 entitled residential dwelling units and home sites. Gary was also the Director of Land Acquisition for Kaufman and Broad Homes, which at the time was the largest homebuilder in the United States.
He has been involved in over one billion dollars worth of real estate development projects throughout the state of California and has participated in or directed the entitlement of over 20,000 residential units.
Since inception, Colton Lee Communities has developed all facets of housing stock including Affordable Housing, Master Planned Communities, Apartments and Self Storage. Gary is a lifelong resident of Ventura County and although his construction career started in the field, he holds a double major in both Urban and Regional Planning, as well as in Public Administration from the University of Southern California. Gary is a board member for Casa Pacifica which is a campus based residential center that provides crisis care, medical and educational services to abused and neglected children throughout Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties.
